The Yosemite dining room collection reflects the improvised, functional look of early 20th-century factory furniture. Roughly hewn solid pine boards bear the characteristic saw marks, dents, holes, and knots left by the steam-powered circular and wing saws of the era. The rustic black pine finish combines transparency and opacity, showcasing these natural imperfections to their best advantage. Exposed bolts, hammered metal handles, and cross braces evoke the ingenuity and ruggedness of the turn of the century. Designed for ultimate comfort, the Yosemite dining table is available in rectangular and round versions. Each model features a 45 cm or 50 cm extension leaf and is characterized by mortise and tenon joints, tongue and groove tabletop frames, and angled cross braces. Dining chairs are available with upholstered or wooden backs and feature solid wood legs, custom nailhead fittings, linen upholstery, and full webbing suspension for hours of comfortable dining. The 165 cm long sideboard completes the collection with three storage levels behind glass doors and three spacious drawers with hammered metal handles, ball bearings, and English dovetail joints. The Yosemite dining room collection is equally suited to an industrial loft in the city center or a farmhouse in the suburbs, blurring the lines between modern and rustic. The collection's black pine finish harmonizes perfectly with concrete or dark hardwood floors and plush, neutral, or bold rugs.   • Robust, 8-screw, corner-blocked RTA construction for the consumer, with dust covers under the seat.
  • Hand-hewn boards are carefully selected and joined together to retain natural saw marks, imperfections, and varying depths from the milling process.
  • The unique café finish is a dark grey with just enough opacity to clearly show the wood grain, and a slightly glossy varnish that enhances the depth and highlights saw marks and rough spots without looking shiny.
